When I was about 7 I was diagnosed with a disease that needed to be treated with steroids that mad me a very big girl. I always wanted to be skinny. I could never see myself as pretty. I’ve recently become sick again and lost a lot of the weight and though my mom seems really happy I’m not a chubby kid anymore I don’t feel any happier. I realized being skinny isnt a big deal. Its just another size. It may seem like being skinny is more acceptable, but there are plenty of people who can appreciate the beauty of a full figured body and this blog has made me one of them. I remember praying I’d be skinny so guys would like me and people could accept me, but honestly looking at all the beautiful girls on this blog has made me wish I had appreciated my curves when I had them. Im a happy person, but not because I’ve lost weight it’s because I’ve accepted that all bodies are beautiful. All bodies are unique. All are valued and loved by plenty even if you dont know those people. And if you think being skinnier will make you a happier person I can’t say it wont because I dont know you, but I think accepting your body and believing in the beauty it holds would make you a lot happier. Every person on this blog is so beautiful and accepting yourselves make you even more so.
